Fishing this week? Of Coarse!
Fishing, Yeah we know, cold coming.
Fishing this week you may ask? Of coarse, but were not silly we will probably stay away from the cold mornings. All hope is not lost though, the afternoons look pleasant. The sun will be shinning and for those of you from the great white north, you will find the afternoon temps rather refreshing.
During the last cold front we of course had some tougher days as our fish are so much into a sudden and big drop in temperature. But on the days with sunshine and a warming the afternoon action would pic up. Recent catches on the lagoon include black drum, redfish, trout, whiting, grunt, snapper, sheepshead, bluefish, catfish and stingray. Even with the cooler weather and water this is always some fun to have fishing on the Banana River Lagoon with Cast Away Adventures.

As much as we love to go fishing, we love the wildlife too. So for the folks that maybe just aren’t into fishing (I know crazy, right) we understand and have a trip for you as well. We have 2hr relaxing and personal dolphin and manatee tours available as well. The Atlantic bottlenose dolphin have been very active. Manatees, of course can be tougher to see in the cold times but we still have been spotting a few. As added bonus that I will mention due to the huge interest. Nasa’s Artemis rocket is now on the pad and can be seen in the distance from the boat.

Special note on launches:
Get the must have app
We have multiple rocket launches happening this week and I get asked about them a lot. While we get a fantastic view from the water, the launches this week are going to be at night. But if you are staying in the area they are a cool thing to see from anywhere in town.
That being said I just wanted to mention the best App to stay up to date so you wont miss the launch. NextSpaceFlight app is the one we use. I have no affiliation with this app but after trying many I can tell you this is the best one. It is free in the app stores, has lots of features like filtering by area, live stream the launch and tons of info on each launch. Best of all it stays really up to date. So if you looking to see a launch check out the Nextspaceflight app.
